Your support helps strengthen and advance the Illinois fraternity and sorority community. The lasting connections that lifelong membership provides is a unique and meaningful aspect of fraternity and sorority membership. We invite our alumni, parents, and other constituents to give to the various funds that support the Illinois fraternity & sorority members, chapters and councils.

Adlon Dohme Jorgensen Greek Life Endowment Fund

The Adlon Dohme Jorgensen Greek Life Endowment Fund was established in 1993 in honor of Panhellenic Council Advisor, Adlon Jorgensen. Adlon advised the University of Illinois Panhellenic Council for 16 years. The Jorgensen Fund is used to support programs, projects and initiatives that augment Greek life at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. This fund is currently used to fully fund the Chapter Presidents Leadership Academy (CPLA), GUARD, sexual assault prevention program and sponsors fraternity and sorority members to attend the Institute by LeaderShape.

Fraternity & Sorority Affairs Fund

This fund provides unrestricted support to Fraternity & Sorority Affairs. Your gift helps FSA live out our mission of advocating for a positive undergraduate fraternal experience at Illinois. Advisement and various programs and trainings are offered in the areas of leadership development, educational and risk reduction programming as well as marketing and outreach efforts and alumni and stakeholder programming.

Make Every Day Matter Scholarship Fund

Established by Phi Kappa Psi alumnus, Todd Salen, the Make Every Day Matter Scholarship Fund supports undergraduate scholarships for students that are members of fraternities and sororities that demonstrate exemplary public and community service. Todd was inspired to start this fund due to the impact volunteerism and engagement had on his life while he was a student at Illinois. Students from any chapter in any council are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Iñaki Bascaran Study Abroad Scholarship Fund

The Iñaki Bascaran Scholarship Fund was established to honor the memory of alumnus, Iñaki Bascaran, by his parents, Jose Bascaran and Lucia Garza. Iñaki graduated in 2020 and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. While an undergraduate, Iñaki studied abroad in Vienna and had a positive and life-changing experience. This scholarship fund will be used to provide financial support to members of fraternities and sororities who participate in a study abroad program. Students from any chapter in any council are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Interfraternity Council Scholarship Fund

The Interfraternity Council created the Interfraternity Council Scholarship Fund in 2010 to provide scholarships to members of IFC chapters. The scholarships are chosen based on financial need and are awarded to students who demonstrate involvement in their fraternity chapter, the larger fraternity and sorority community, the campus/local community.

1872 Legacy Scholarship Fund

The 1972 Legacy Scholarship Fund was established in 2007 to honor anc commemorate the 135th anniversary of the first fraternity founded at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. This fund provides undergraduate scholarships to members of IFC chapters who are in their sophomore or junior year.

Panhellenic Association Beth Dohme Wallin Endowment Fund

Established to honor the memory of Beth Dohme Wallin, Kappa Kappa Gamma member and outstanding contributor to the Panhellenic Community. This fund supports the Beth Dohme Wallin award and the Victoria Merkel Award, both of which are annual Panhellenic Council awards. The Panhellenic Association Beth Dohme Wallin Endowment Fund also may be used to defray the costs of special equipment or materials for Panhellenic programs or projects as well as other extraordinary expenses associated with programs and projects of the Panhellenic Association.

Panhellenic Council Scholarship Fund

The Panhellenic Council established the Panhellenic Council Scholarship Fund in 2006 to provide financial support to members. This fund provides scholarships to students who demonstrate leadership and service to Panhellenic and the fraternity and sorority community. Recipients display academic excellence and exceptional leadership with a preference to applicants who display financial need.

Your donation will go directly to the University of Illinois Foundation which then distributes the funds into the appropriate account. The Student Affairs Advancement Office notifies Fraternity & Sorority Affairs of all financial contributions. The University of Illinois Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 organization, and as such, all gifts are tax deductible as allowed by law.
