Stride for Survivors

A Solidarity Walk to End Sexual Violence on Campus

Body

Stride for Survivors is an event designed to raise awareness within the fraternity and sorority community on the topic of gender violence and sexual assault. The program takes place in two phases. The first part, an educational program, takes place in a classroom setting on campus. Immediately following the educational program is a walk which occurs on the Main Quad of campus. While there may be limited seating during the educational program due to space limitations, the walk is open to any and all students.

Stride for Survivors is a program which coincides with the campus-wide events offered during Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, is open to all students and is coordinated by representatives from the Black Greek, Interfraternity, Panhellenic and United Greek Councils.
