Each of the four governing councils: Black Greek Council, Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, and the United Greek Council have a member of the staff within Fraternity & Sorority Affairs who works with the elected officers as their council advisor.
The role of the council advisor is to provide guidance on council operations, administration and planning. While the management and operations of the council are the responsibility of the elected/appointed officers for the respective council, the advisor plays a key role in guiding those decisions based on best practice, knowledge of policies and laws that govern the councils and organizational purpose. Advisors also provide historical perspectives which many undergraduates may not have. The advisor will meet individually and as a group with the council officers and may attend relevant business meetings or programs in support of the organization.
Below is a listing of council advisors:
- Black Greek Council: Angeline Jones
- Interfraternity Council: Andrew Hohn
- Panhellenic Council: Angeline Jones
- United Greek Council: Ashley Dye
