Consent & Sexual Assault Prevention for Fraternity Men & Sorority Women

GUARD is a collaborative program between Fraternity & Sorority Affairs, the Women's Resources Center and the Black Greek, Interfraternity, Panhellenic and United Greek Councils.

This interactive program, offered in the fall and spring semesters, educates students on creating a safe campus which values consent, supports survivors, and intervenes in potentially dangerous situations. For more information regarding GUARD, visit wecare.illinois.edu/prevention/students/guard/.

Beginning fall 2016, it will be an expectation for every chapter to have one member attend GUARD. The purpose of this expectation is to enhance and provide each organization with someone who can serve as a resource regarding consent and sexual assault prevention.

For questions regarding GUARD, please contact Andrew Hohn, Associate Director for Fraternity & Sorority Affairs at ahohn@illinois.edu.
