Rosters

All team members listed on the roster of a Greek Cup Team MUST be active members or new members/pledges of their fraternal organization.

Should a team believe a player on another team’s roster is not an active member or new member/pledge of a fraternity or sorority, they may submit a protest for the player’s eligibility with intramural staff. Intramural Activities will collaborate with Fraternity & Sorority Affairs to verify the membership of the member in question listed on team’s roster.

If a Greek Cup Team is found to have a participant on their team roster who is not an active member or new member/pledge of its particular fraternal organization, the organization in question will forfeit any points earned towards the Greek Cup.

Fraternity and sororities should email intramurals@illinois.edu to identify an Athletic Chair or Captain of their team(s). The Intramural Activities office will make the athletics chair an administrator for their organizations’ group page on IM Leagues.

The Head, or Chair, must affiliate their teams with the fraternity or sorority group by clicking on the Associate Teams tab at the the bottom of the organization page. This will bring up the teams the captain is already assigned. They can pull them under the umbrella of the group by clicking Associate.

Note: Fraternities and sororities should only Associate the teams on their group page which they wish to be eligible for the Greek Cup. Intramural Activities will only count one (1) FGC / SGC team per sport toward the organization’s point total.
